We are producing a great compost that can be found at the following local garden supply companies:

Drop-site Members:
Come to our facility during operating hours to pick up your complimentary bags of compost -- we will provide burlap bags and a shovel for self-service pick up. Customer will need to provide last name or account number to operator when they arrive

Residential Curbside Collection Pilot Program
The Town of Vail and Vail Honeywagon are partnering to offer residential organic waste collection to select neighborhoods in the West Vail Area. This is a subscription based program that residents can sign up for to receive weekly organic waste collection and the Town is covering half of the cost for each resident who participates for up to one year. Space is limited in this program so sign up now. This will be a subscription-based program that requires a commitment to follow composting guidelines in exchange for access to the secure drop site containers.

How the Program Works:
Participants sign up for monthly membership through Vail Honeywagon.
Membership fees are charged in advance on a quarterly basis.
Membership can be canceled or put on vacation hold at any time.
Each household is allocated one 5 gal bucket of waste/ week.
All participants are expected to read email communication.
All members of participating households are encouraged to attend compost trainings.
Drop Site Etiquette:
Kitchen scraps only in the compost drop site dumpster.
(Use complimentary vouchers to compost yard waste at the Honeywagon facility)
Remove stickers, rubber bands and packaging before composting.
Clean up after yourself at the community site.
Always lock the dumpster after dumping your organic waste.
Report illegal dumping or suspicious activity.
