Recycling is available to all Eagle County residents.

Things to KEEP OUT OF RECYCLING
  • Plastc Bags!!!
  • Packing material (bubbles, plastic, foam...etc.
  • Shredded paper
  • Food
  • Broken glass & dishes
  • Styrofoam
  • Scrap metal
  • Light Bulbs
  • Caps and lids
  • Pizza boxes with food stuck to them
  • Freezer food boxes (wax prevents recycling)
  • Hazerdous waste
  • Electronics (call for electronics options)

 

Acceptable items for recycling
  • Newspaper
  • Office Paper
  • Aluminum / Steel / Tins cans
  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Water bottles
  • Plastic milk jugs
  • Plastics labeled 1-6 (if it's not labeled, it can NOT be recycled)
